Our ancient estate Home is situated in the heart of Tuscany amongst the hills of Siena and Arezzo in one of the most beautiful parts of Chianti. Its unique position makes it easy to reach a wealth of the most beautiful towns and hill villages in Tuscany and Umbria including; Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and San Gimignano. The estate comprises of a castle, a hamlet of stone and tiled farmhouses and extends to 750 acres of woods, vineyards and centuries old olive trees.
Tenuta has been lovingly restored using carefully chosen, traditional materials and finishing of an exceptionally high quality.
The apartments are all spacious, comfortable, excellently appointed, complimented by beautiful artistic period furniture and have gardens and/or terraces. The castello was designed for quality holidays . feel comfortable and welcome at any time of the year. The estate also offers hospitality on a bed and Breakfast basis.
The four double rooms are all spacious and comfortable and all have en-suite facilities.
Typical local cuisine is served in the private restaurant, available only to guests.
The swimming pool (20 X 8 m) is situated in the grounds just below the houses and ample poolside furniture is provided. All apartments have telephone, central heating, satellite TV and outdoor furniture. This beautiful old hamlet, close to Siena and Arezzo, with exceptionally good quality apartments is highly recommended.
The apartments in the borgo are all fully serviced, have large bedrooms with ensuite facilities, spacious living rooms, large gardens and terraces.
They have been carefully restored with elegance and taste, and are furnished with antique pieces.
Each apartment is provided with air condition in the bedrooms, independent heating system, kitchen or cooking corner, LCD TV 26” in the apartments for 2 people and TV 32” in the apartments for 4-6 people.
A high level of comfort is ensured by each apartment (sleeping from 2 to 6 people) being supplied with its own telephone, television, kitchen,oven, towels and sheets and individual heating system.
Outside, there is a 26 x 64 ft. swimming pool.
After a day by the pool or touring the surrounding regions, guests can complete their perfect day with dinner in our own private restaurant

Steeped in centuries of rich history stretching far back through medieval times to the Etruscan era
Tuscany has had plenty of time to establish some of the most enticing cultural festivals.
The region recently featured in the opening sequences of James Bond; Quantum of Solace in which a chase scene took place through the preserved streets of Sienna during the historical Palio. A festival of sport and local rivalries The Palio is a unique horse race that takes place in the piazza del publico in the centre of this medieval city.
The sights and sounds of competing contrada, municipal districts named after animals, is hard to beat. Each contrada parades through the streets in the days leading up to the race dressed in ornate historical clothing, banging drums and waving flags with awe-inspiring and well-rehearsed precision. On race days, July 2 and August 16, the city is filled to bursting with a party atmosphere and all the excitement of up close bareback horse riding.
For something a little less exhausting the ancient hilltop town of Montelpulciano hosts the Bravio delle Botti during the last week of August. This picturesque town is famed for its surrounding vineyards and has been hosting the wine festival since the 17th century. A week of different ceremonies and special wine tastings culminates in a barrel rolling contest through the narrow streets.
