dated XVIII° century now completely restructured – with respect to the original architecture. The Estate is situated in panoramic position, among the harmonious hills of Langhe and Monferrato and it is easily attainable: just 2 kilometres from Nizza Monferrato and 5 kilometres from Canelli, villages that are well-known all over the world for the beauty of the landscape and for the wine production.
The structure is surrounded by the green of 40 hectares of vineyards with a lake and a poplar forest, ideal places for relaxing walks on foot or in mountain bike.
Suites with canopy beds and small apartments, all endowed with the modern comforts and elegantly furnished with a touch of romanticism in order to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere.
Guests can also have at their disposal a private swimming pool with park and two pleasant halls, for meetings, business conferences or ceremonies.
Our goal is to make our guests feel the spirit of our country made of love & respect for the earth, fields and offor wine and food traditions, for this reason we organize a lot of led leisure activities: visits in the most famous local wine cellars (like those of Canelli proposed as UNESCO patrimony) or cooking lessons and tasting wines. According to the seasons, it will be also possible to experience the grape-harvest and the typical truffle hunting.
We can also organize for you tours of the area, ceremonies, visits with guide, links to golf clubs and riding-grounds.

Wine and Food
Our area is a real “Bacchus Paradise” from our vineyards, that stretch out as far as the eye can see and where at the end of august you begin to breathe the heady scent of the ripe graves, we produce the best-known Piedmont wines starting from Moscato from which we produce Asti DOCG and Moscato d’Asti DOCG, and a wide range of other good wines as Brachetto d’Acqui Spumante DOCG, Piemonte Chardonnay, Cortese dell’Alto Monferrato, Barbera d’Asti, Barbera del Monferrato, Dolcetto d’Asti, Freisa d’Asti, Grignolino d’Asti. Our guests will have the possibility to make wine tasting or buy some bottles from our historical cellars and wine shops.
Side by side to the wines we have the same richness in food that you will appreciate from our first-rate local products as: the truffle; the “bagna cauda”; the “farinata” called “belecauda” in Nizza’s dialect; the Nizza Monferrato bend thistle; the Valtiglione artichoke; the Vinchio saracen asparagus; the typical boiled meat; the sweet grape pickles called “cognà”; the Langhe round hazelnut; the acacia, dandelion and chestnut honey; the Roccaverano soft cheese Robiola; the Mombaruzzo amaretti; the S. Marzano Oliveto “goddess” apple.
At your arrival we will provide all the information required: places where it will be possible to buy the wines and the listed products, we will give you some suggestions about wine cellars and guided tours.
In our Agriturismo it will be possible to reserve dinners for groups. as well as restaurants with tradition local typical dishes as the “farinata”.

Truffles: The search allows you to enter in the hidden world of the truffle and discover the secret jewels of the “trifulau” jealously guarded from generation to generation. only few lucky people have the possibility to accompany a “trifulau” in the woods and in the valleys.
The search of the truffle is an unique and exciting show, a mixture of feelings and of humors: the smell of the wood, the damp on the skin, the noises that come in the fog, the pants of the dog and the buckets calls of the “trifulau”, in a low voice, almost whispered.
Arrived in the “tartufaia” the dog begins to look for, earth nose, he crosses a brief line, he changes direction, he returns on its footsteps, he stops, he stays motionless for an instant and then he begins to rasp the ground, frantically.
The “trifulau” draws near him, he caresses him to calm him, he attentively begins to dig for not ruining the precious truffle, he gently extracts it, he still caresses the dog and he rewards him. Then he covers the hole and he takes back the search.

Meeting with the trifulau and of his dog, description of the history of the truffle and illustration of the utensils, of the periods and of the methods of the search.

Re-entry and tasting of some truffles combined to meats, cheeses and local wines. Illustration of the based most traditional recipes with truffles and on the methods of maintenance.

Program of the visit: Standard room : 18/20 mq. First floor with view on the back or ground floor with garden behind.
Superior room : 20/22 mq. First floor, panoramic view on the vineyards or lake.
Junior suite room : 30/35 mq. First floor with a nice entrance with armchairs or sofa and balcony.
Suite room : with canopy’s bed and view on the park with swimming pool.
All the rooms are endowed with: private bathroom with shower and hairdresser, TV, Telephone, ADSL, minibar, air conditioned.
Description of our apartments: Two connected rooms: one room with a king size bed for the couple and another room with 2 beds, table, chairs, and a small kitchen.
