asa D Amiata is a Beautiful Agriturismo Farm near a small village called Montegiovi (595 m altitude), in the province of Grosseto.This northeaster part of the province, near the border to Siena, belongs to Monte Amiata, which is not only famous for villages like Castel del Piano (5km), Arcidosso (approx. 5 km) or Santa Fiora (approx. 14 km), but for its beautiful nature which invites for long walks through pine forests and chestnut-trees.
The estate is in a quiet place with a magnificent view of Montegiovi – if the weather is good, even the hills of Siena are visible. Those who enjoy wine will be given full satisfaction because famous wines like Brunello and Montecucco are grown here and taste Exceptionally in combination with the delicious Tuscan meals.
In the last few years Casa D Amiata was restored very carefully with consideration of every little detail to offer an ambient for the guests that promises unforgettable and perfect holidays.The typical stone house was divided into 4 large holiday flats and one single apartment.Each unit has a separate entrance and a private, sheltered terrace.possibilities for shopping are in Arcidosso or Castel del Piano.
Nearby there are two restaurants ( approx. 1.5 km).Sea beaches are in Principina at Marina di Grosseto nearly 60 km .famous sights and worthwhile destinations like Montalcino (30 km), the hot sulphured springs of Saturnia (40 km), Pienza (40 km) or Siena (70 km)many other activities this blessed area can offer .
General Information
In the two story stone cottage there are separated 4 three-room apartments and one single-room apartment:
Raffaello, Michelangelo, Leonardo, Botticelli + Caravaggio each apartment can be rented separately but also the complete house can be taken by a big family group .Each flat with private atmosphere and separate entry and a terrace with tasteful garden furniture ceiling with visible wooden beams (except Apartment Raffaello!) floor tiles “cotta”comfortable furniture in the best of taste new wrought-iron beds in antique style and antique wooden furniture from the 19th century kitchen with 4-flame-cooker (no oven), storage cupboard, refrigerator with small freezer, ceramic tiled work space TV with satellite , air conditioning , washing machine for common use in a separate room (extra costs!)

Leonardo (4-6 guests)
The apartment (about 80 square meters + 20 square meters of covered terrace + 12 square meters of open terrace) is situated on the first floor in western part of the house. The access is granted from an external staircase. It is divided into a big living-room with a cooking corner, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower box and another bedroom with two single beds, from where a stair brings to a little mezzanine with an iron balustrade which can hold two further bedsits for children.From the living room you reach the big terrace with a wonderful view of the swimming pool and the village Montegiovi.The apartment walls are light blue painted and decorated with Leonardo da Vinci’s patterns.
Botticelli (4-6 guests)
The apartment (about 70 square meters + 18 square meters covered terrace) is on the first floor of the back part of the house. The terrace and the door can reached from a separate external staircase. It is divided into a big living-room with a cooking corner, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower box and another bedroom with two single beds.From the double room you can reach, through a stair, a gallery with an iron balustrade which can hold two further bedsits for children.The apartment light-green is painted and decorated with some of the famous Sandro Botticelli’s patterns.
Michelangelo (4 guests)
The apartment (about 60 square meters + 15 square meters covered terrace with view of the swimming pool + further 20 square meters of covered terrace) is situated on the ground floor in the western part of the house. The entrance is available from the terrace. It is divided into a living-room with a cooking corner, a double bedroom, another bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower box. The walls are light-pink painted and decorated with pictures portraying Michelangelo Buonarotti’s patterns.
Raffaello (4 people – disabled access)
The apartment (about 55 square meters + 15 square meters of covered terrace) is on the ground floor in the eastern part of the house, with direct access to the swimming pool and accessibility granted for disabled people. It is divided into a living-room with cooking corner, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower box.The walls are white painted and decorated with Raffaello Sanzio’s patterns.There is the opportunity to put into communication the two apartments Raffaello and Caravaggio throughout a common door, so that it could be possible to put up a 80 square meter apartment for 6 people, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Caravaggio 2 Guests
The apartment (about 25 square meters + 55 square meters covered terrace) can be reached throughout a wonderful stone arch. It is constituted by a unique room with a double sofa bed, a cooking corner and a bathroom with shower box. The walls are light yellow painted and decorated with Caravaggio’s patterns.There is the opportunity to put into communication the two apartments Raffaello and Caravaggio throughout a common door, so that it could be possible to put up a 80 square meter apartment for 6 people, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Payment: apartments are normally rented for a week. The advance payment due is 30 % of the rental fee.Balance is due upon arrival plus a deposit of 200 euros each apartment.
